By booking in for this event you agree that your children remain your responsibility during the activity, you participate at your own risk, and that you have read and agreed to the HEN Camp Guidelines.
Bring your own tent, capmer trailer, van or whatever camping gear suits your family. We will camp on Alicia’s large property and explore the bush and wetlands environment.
You will need to bring your own food and cooking gear because we will each be catering for our own families.
Bring warm clothes and extra clothes – this is a wetlands and children are likely to get wet and muddy!
If you have nature journals, binoculars or other equipment for exploring the environment then bring these along too.
This will be a relaxed camp with most of the time available for unstructured play, walks, hut building, nature exploration and whatever other ideas familie scome up with.
There will be some optional creative, art and nature activities available (the cost of these activities is included in your camp fees).
Some time will be allocated for structured activities. A local indigenous group plan to come and do a welcome to country ceremony and to chat with our group.
We may do optional additional activities such as a trip to the Naracoorte Caves or the Harrow Museum (there will be extra costs involved for these trips).
