Halls Gap Gardens Caravan Park

Halls Gap Gardens Caravan Park

2223 Grampians Road Halls Gap

Plenty of powered and unpowered sites for camping. Limited number of cabins and cabins will be held until July and then released to the general public so please book by July if you want a cabin.

Note this camp has a 10pm noise curfew. If that’s a problem for you, please attend (or organise) another camp. HEN will be fined if the noise curfew is broken and reserves the right to claim that from any family whose action caused it.

    1. Read the HEN Camp Guidelines and confirm you are willing to abide by them and the 10pm noise curfew.
    2. Contact the park on 5356 4244 or email: stay@hallsgapgardenscaravanpark.com.au  saying you wish to book for the HEN camp,  nominating the type of cabin you wish – see cabin options at hallsgapgardenscaravanpark.com.au
    3. Please email your phone number and cabin number or campsite number to Julie on booking juliemc9@gmail.com

Included Activities

Many families are happy to hang out at the camp and go on bushwalks without doing the extra paid activities below – whatever works for you.

The children often like to walk or ride bikes or scooters into Halls Gap – there is a bike path from the caravan park to the town.

If you are organising a bush walk, please put details up in the camp kitchen, including starting location and time, so that other families can join you.

Please do not organise group activities at the caravan park without letting me know and getting permission from the caravan park manager as there will be a number of non-home educating campers and the caravan park also needs to cater to them.

There is a swimming pool at the caravan park – please make sure that you supervise your children if they are using the pool area.

Extra Activities:

Absolute Outdoors in Halls Gap will provide abseiling, rockclimbing, high ropes and canoeing again. These are optional at additional cost.

  • High Ropes
  • Climbing and abseiling
  • Canoeing
  • Beginner Abseiling

Update 13/11/2018

Further information about times of activities will be available later this week with the details of how to book the activities.

Your booking at the Halls Gap Gardens Caravan Park will only be held if you have also made a deposit of the fee for your first night as requested in the information.

If you have booked a cabin saying you’d make the deposit in the next few days, but forgot to ring back and pay the deposit, you need to pay your deposit within the next 48 hours to hold your booking as the cheaper cabins are now fully booked with other people requesting to book them.

The admin staff at the caravan park will make every attempt to contact anyone having booked but not yet paid their deposit – using the contact details that you have provided – and I will do the same but if we have not been able to contact you with repeated attempts at emailing, leaving voice messages, and texting, the caravan park will assume that you no longer want the booking and release the cabin to someone else.

Please email me if you have any questions
