From Melbourne Museum’s website…
Children identify with two Koorie children called Kirk and Ruby who are visiting their grandparents place near the Murray River. Their grandfather has an interesting collection of objects in his shed, which the children find fascinating.

Children are introduced to objects that are culturally and historically significant and learn that families are important carriers of knowledge. Children are introduced to the concept of place and environment through a spoken narrative illustrated with objects, sounds and movements.

In small groups, children interact with objects by touching, describing, sorting and classifying.

A hands-on interactive session that culminates in a focused exploration of the Children’s Gallery.

I need to confirm and pay for this event in advance so I will be unable to offer refunds. Thanks for understanding.
