Natured Kids Term 1. 2018. Junior Landcare sessions for school aged kids 4-‐14 yrs 11am-‐1pm. Due to the need for staffing of this program & the progressive nature of sessions, casual attendance is not an option. Commitment is for the full term.

Week 2. Feb. 6th Yogalates in the Park. Beauty Park. Mel.100A C9. Opposite footy oval, Kars Street, Frankston 3199. Meditate & breathe fresh air & enjoy story-‐time under old majestic oak tree, Learn ABC’s of yoga for kids. Find & pot up acorn to take home.
Week 3. Feb.13th Who’s a permaculture kid? Let’s go on a ‘Bug hunt’ as we count the range of summer vegetables growing to eat! Venue: ‘Joy of the Earth’ Community Garden, at rear of 15 Joy Street, Frankston, 3199. Mel.102.F2. Harvest vegetables to Make & eat a ‘super strong salad’ that will make your body sing!. No Natured Kids next week on Tuesday 20th of February.
Week 4. Feb.27th Come hiking through this mystical bushland, home to many creatures including mythical ones! Make Clay ‘tree faces’ of bush fairies, elves & Bunyips using natural items. Sweetwater Crk playground. Frankston. 3199. Mel.102 A7.
Week 5. Mar.6th The Briars Community farm. Be introduced to 3 rare breeds of Heritage farm animals. Feed Cochin & Dorking Chickens & Berkshire Pigs. Mel. ref. 145.D11. 450, Nepean Highway. Mt. Martha, 3934. Pot up some 19th Century rare Heritage seed to take home & grow in your garden. Play some heritage children’s games that have had a long & enduring history.
Week 6. Mar.13th Ponding for ‘creek critters’. Visit the Late Dame Elisabeth Murdoch’s spectacular Autumn Garden, at Cruden Farm. Mel. 103 G6. Park in the paddock off Cranhaven Rd please, behind this magnificent farming property in Langwarrin. 3910. Make favorite aquatic macro invertebrate from seed pods found on a treasure hunt in nature.
Week 7. Mar. 20th Bug Hunting @ Joy Street Community garden, Learn how insects such as ladybirds help us. Venue: ‘Joy of the Earth’ Community Garden, at rear of 15 Joy Street, Frankston, 3199. Mel.102.F2. Create a habitat for beneficial bugs!
