Join an NGV educator in the Learn Studios for a brief introduct ion to Kusama’s artmaking practice and create your own moveable artwork inspired by the artist’s creative use of line\, colour\, shape\, and pat tern. Please note that UV lights will be activated for a brief part of thi s workshop.\n\nAn optional self-guided viewing of the exhibition is also a vailable.\n\nKids will:\n\n Identify key elements in the work of Yayoi Ku sama including her use of line\, colour\, shape and pattern\n Discuss the mes and ideas present in select works by Kusama\n Produce an individual a rtwork inspired by ideas and themes evident in Kusama’s artwork\n\n🧒 👧🏾 This event is for children 8y-14y. Younger children are discourag ed from participating in the workshop\, &\; where possible families mig ht consider taking younger siblings to the Children's Gallery during the w orkshop\, if older siblings can be supervised by another adult (e.g. famil y or friend).\n\n⏰️🗓 10.45am arrival for an 11am start to the works hop &\; 12pm finish.
