 h the dynamic life and work of Yayoi Kusama\, one of the world’s most re
 cognisable artists living today. Join an NGV educator online to hear about
  Kusama’s artistic development and the way in which her work connects wi
 th key art movements of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries\, includi
 ng minimalism\, pop art\, performance and feminist art.\n\nThis virtual ex
 cursion will examine Kusama’s ideas\, influences\, materials and techniq
 ues and include an analysis of selected works in the exhibition. This live
 ly session is perfect for families unable to attend the Gallery in person\
 , or who would like an introduction to the exhibition prior to visiting th
 e gallery (HEN event: Tuesday 15 April).\n\nThis program is tailored for m
 id-primary to mid-high school ages\, and everyone will be able to enjoy it
 .\n\nKids will:\n\n 	Analyse and interpret themes\, concepts and ideas in 
 Yayoi Kusama’s artworks and discuss how they are expressed using the art
  elements and principles\n 	Discuss how Kusama uses materials\, techniques
  and processes to realise her intentions in her artworks\n 	Identify and c
 onnect elements of artworks in the exhibition to a wider historical\, cult
 ural and social context\n\nThis is a free event\, with HEN covering costs.
 \n\nA physical workshop &amp\; optional self-guided tour of the NGV's Kusa
