 ing.com/DIHLR\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nJoin us for a day at Deep Creek Reserve\, wher
 e Swinburne PrimeSci will give kids the opportunity to learn about science
  and the environment\, by utilising the indoor centre and surrounding wetl
 ands.\n\nThis event offers two concurrent activities:\nLife Cycles: ages 4
 y-9y\nDiscuss and explore what defines a living thing and identify differe
 nt life stages of freshwater invertebrates (including waterbugs) in a pond
  water sample.\nFreshwater Habitats: ages 8y-12y\nInvestigate different we
 tland water samples from of the Deep Creek Reserve to identify freshwater 
 invertebrates (including waterbugs). Discuss the needs of animals that liv
 e in these habitats as you learn about living and non-living factors that 
 influence life in our local waterways.\n\nAfter the excursion\, families a
 re encouraged to stay for lunch and a play at the eco play space.\nDetails
 :\n\n 	$19 per child\, adults free\n 	Both groups are open to all school a
 ges\, so siblings welcome to stay together\n 	Sorry\, no preschool aged si
 blings. Families are encouraged to send friends in together\, &amp\; young
 er siblings can play at the eco play space during the excursion\n 	Limit o
 f one adult per family per activity\n 	Families to bring weather appropria
 te clothes that may get dirty\n 	Shoes required\n 	10.45am arrival for an
