Preschoolers (aged 3 – 5): I love the Sea!
This program gives students the opportunity to explore the underwater world of SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium in a safe indoor environment. The program involves exploration of our amazing displays, in addition to structured play-based activities with one of our educators. Key focuses include: Time to explore and ask questions about the sea, identifying different types of animals, child-directed play and hands-on learning.
Early primary (aged 6 – 9): Conservation and Sustainability
Students learn about our marine animals, their habitats, human impact, sustainability, and everyday actions to help to conserve them. Exploring the ways humans can have a positive impact on the environment, taking on the role of marine scientists. Students will also dive into the human impacts on the environment and come up with conservation programs that can look after and support marine life.
Please note: All children require a parent/carer supervisor. Duty of care will remain with the parent/carer supervisor throughout the full excursion. If you have multiple children attending, you will either need to bring another adult to supervise or join a group that is closest to both age groups.
Bookings are essential: Given the number of adults attending, groups are capped at 15 children and 15 adults. If we reach capacity for a group and have enough interest, we will open up a second group. So if tickets are sold out, please add yourself to the waiting list.
Conditions of entry: These tickets are for a two-hour Guided tour only. The reduced price is to reflect the limited visit time. SEA LIFE Melbourne does not allow groups to stay after their session.
