 ou work in the future? Down the road? Across the sea? Up in space? The spa
 ce sector is set to triple in size by the year 2028 and will have a role i
 n many diverse industries including agriculture\, meteorology\, precision 
 mapping and health. What industries would it take to make Mars our home?\n
 In this program\, students will think critically about the skills and know
 ledge needed for a successful mission to Mars. After debating and voting o
 n industries to send on the mission\, in a way that mirrors Victoria’s p
 arliamentary process\, they will work collaboratively to complete a hands-
 on design challenge as they consider how to sustainably power operations\,
  feed the population\, and communicate across the far reaches of space.\nK
 ey Themes: space\, earth sciences\, biology\, digital technologies\, robot
 ics\, innovation\, civics and citizenship.\nPlease note:\nAs per the Melbo
 urne Science Gallery requirements\, this event is strictly for students o
 f secondary school age. To avoid disappointment\, please do not book in y
 ounger children or they will not be allowed to participate.\n\nParents are
  required to stay in the workshop room.\n\nIf sold out\, requests for addi
 tional tickets will be managed via the TryBooking waitlist. If booked out\
