DESCRIPTION:This event is part of a state-wide series. To book this event\,

 offers a range of 45-minute first aid training sessions across Victoria fo
 r primary-aged children\, facilitated by St John Ambulance and teaching th
 e importance of First Aid and what to do in an event of an emergency.\n\nT
 he knowledge and skills gained from the program will develop kids' First A
 id awareness\, and contribute to building a more resilient community. Brin
 ging to life the importance of First Aid and what to do in an emergency (i
 ncluding calling 000 and performing CPR)\, the interactive games\, Storyti
 me and Action Plan scenarios make the program more enjoyable than ever bef
 ore. The learning is age-appropriate\, with kids divided into three age gr
 oups\, &amp\; taught a selected learning module (see full details below).\
 n\nKids are encouraged to wear clothing suitable for floor work (e.g. pant
 s or shorts)\, &amp\; should bring a pen / pencil &amp\; paper.\n\nThese s
 essions are provided for free by St John. A $5 booking fee per child per s
 ession covers venue hire\, with any surplus funds donated to St John Ambul
 ance. If a venue is hired for free\, all attending families will be reimbu
 rsed in full.\n\nThis event is aimed at primary-aged children\, however ju
 nior secondary-aged kids who have rudimentary first aid skills and knowled
