Bringing to life the importan ce of First Aid and what to do in an emergency (including calling 000 and performing CPR)\, the interactive games\, Storytime and Action Plan scenar ios make the program more enjoyable than ever before. The learning is age- appropriate\, with kids divided into three age groups\, &\; taught a se lected learning module (see full details below).\nKids are encouraged to w ear clothing suitable for floor work (e.g. pants or shorts)\, &\; shoul d bring a pen / pencil &\; paper.\nThese sessions are provided for free by St John. A $5 booking fee per child per session covers venue hire\, wi th any surplus funds donated to St John Ambulance. If a venue is hired for free\, all attending families will be reimbursed in full.\nThis event is aimed at primary-aged children\, however junior secondary-aged kids who ha ve rudimentary first aid skills and knowledge are welcome to join as well. \nPlease note: only children participating in a session may be in the room during each session. Non-participating siblings (either booked in a diffe rent session\, or not participating at all) cannot be in the room\, &\; must be supervised by an adult they know &\; trust. Families can eithe r bring two adults\, or can team up with a friend coming to supervise all kids.
