Date(s) - 22/03/2022 - 25/03/2022
Two and a half days of activities, starting on 23rd March.
Students will be split into small groups, there will be a group sign up sheet circulated to families once bookings close, and we will endeavour to keep friendship groups together, but this cannot be guarantee
Parents may attend activities with their children, however indoor activities allow only one adult at a time. All students need to have a responsible adult on site at all times – this is not a drop off activity.
Children under 5 are admitted free to the park, including the river cruise and light show, they may observe outdoor activities, but are not participants. There are options for younger children to play at the pioneer village whilst activities are happening.
You can book your own accommodation/camping off site, or stay on site.
For on site bookings, families should book the smallest room available which will accommodate their family. Accommodation is in bunk rooms, with shared bathrooms. There are three lodges, which are within metres of one another. You may request to be in the same lodge as friends, but this is not guaranteed.
Accommodation is for one family per room, but you can choose to share a room with friends if you wish.
Accommodation is provided for the nights of 22-24th March, adults staying on site will be required to show proof of vaccination.
There are kitchen and dining/recreation rooms in the two larger lodges, the smallest lodge has access to these. All accommodation is self catered. There are also BBQ facilities and an outdoor fire pit. Families are responsible for cleaning their rooms at the end of their stay, and for keeping the common areas clean and tidy.
Accommodation is free for those under 1 year old, children aged 1-5 pay $45 for three nights.
Many families enjoy making or sourcing costumes for the camp, Swan Hill encourage participants to wear costumes, but it is optional.
There are many small jobs to be done at camp, being a designated group leader, or helping disseminate information. There is an option to volunteer in the booking.
Refunds may be offered until a week before the camp, if another family is available to take your place from our waiting list. Adults who wish to visit the Pioneer Village (including staying at on site accommodation) will be required to show proof of vaccination.
This event is for HEN members only.
