DESCRIPTION:The Thought Workshop: Part III\n\nAncient Wisdom Literature Ser
 ies for Home-Educated Teens\n\nJoin us as we explore the philosophical and
  literary traditions of ancient civilisations through their foundational w
 ritings\, examining how their ideas continue to shape our understanding of
  wisdom\, leadership\, and human nature.\n\nMorning Session: Ancient Texts
  and Ideas\n\nWe will delve into classical works like the Epic of Gilgames
 h\, Homer's Odyssey\, Confucius's Analects\, the Prophets of Israel\, and 
 the Bhagavad Gita\, with some comparative studies of other texts from the 
 period.\n\nAfternoon Session: Interactive Discussions\n\nAfter lunch\, we 
 will engage in discussions that challenge the teens to unpack the stories 
 and big ideas emerging from these texts. These sessions are designed to st
 imulate and enhance critical and creative thinking. Students will be encou
 raged to express diverse viewpoints\, fostering a spirit of inquiry and in
 dependent thought.\n\nDetails\n\nWhen: Five Thursdays - March 6\, 13\, 20\

 st: $75 for the five-week series or $20 per individual session\nFormat: Fi
 ve sessions\, each with a morning text exploration and afternoon discussio
 n\nSkills: Critical thinking\, cultural literacy\, ethical reasoning\, res
 pectful debate\nPreparation for Class\n\nStudent preparation for each week
 ly class will be less than one hour and will include some reading and YouT
 ube videos for backgrounding.\n\nWeekly Schedule\n\nWeek 1: Ancient Mesopo
 tamia\n\nWeek 2: Ancient Greece\n\nWeek 3: Ancient China\n\nWeek 4: Ancien
 t Israel\n\nWeek 5: Ancient India\n\nAll text extracts will be provided\, 
 but may need to be printed out and brought to the class by students (TBC).
 \n\nCommunity Lunch\n\nSessions are scheduled around the Fusion community 
 lunch. Students are welcome to join this lunch between the morning and aft
 ernoon sessions. Donations can be made to Fusion for lunch\, should you wi
