Optional activities, to be booked at camp, include:
-
Tower Hill twilight tour with boomerang throwing (donation)
-
Boomerang making (cost TBC)
-
Traditional boomerang painting with Aunty, around $10 (with traditional owner)
-
Didgeridoo playing workshop with local indigenous man (cost TBC)
-
Decolonisation talk
-
Yarning circle
-
Bush dance ($7 pp).
Beach activities, surfing, swimming, skate park, bike tracks, massive playground, paddle boats with Ken (additional cost).
Bring surfboard, boogie boards, bikes, roller skates, scooters, skate boards as there is a great track along the foreshore skate park and BMX track not far. Welcome to bring nerf and laser guns.
Book your accommodation directly with Surfside Caravan Park. Tell them you are with the Victorian Homeschool Group.
We are aiming to be in or close to the yellow zone. You can get 15% off the $43 site per night regardless of how many children you have.
Please note that due to an error by the camp, bookings made last year have been deleted. If you think you have a booking, please ring to confirm. Jackie’s advice is to insist on the M, T and N sections when booking as these are closest to the camp kitchen/where other families have booked.
If you have questions, you can contact Jackie’s on 0438466047 or join this group https://www.facebook.com/groups/1223153738629915
