 turn their ideas into a story?\n\nJoin one of Australia's favourite childr
 en's authors\, Phil Kettle\, for a fun\, interactive 6 week online writing
  workshop where participants will learn the secrets behind writing excitin
 g stories they'll be proud of. Perfect for young writers\, reluctant write
 rs\, avid readers\, gamers\, sports lovers and creative kids alike\, this 
 workshop shows students that the best story ideas often come from their ow
 n everyday lives\, hobbies and interests.\n\nThe online writers workshop h
 as been designed with 8 to 13 year old participants in mind. However all a
 ges are encouraged to attend.\n\nThrough Phil's proven story planning fram
 ework\, students will discover how to:\n\n 	Create interesting characters 
 readers will love.\n 	Build exciting plots and mysteries.\n 	Understand wh
 at makes a story engaging.\n 	Plan their ideas using a simple 4-step story
 telling framework.\n 	Develop the confidence to write their own high-quali
 ty narrative.\n\nThe workshops are visual\, structured and highly interact
 ive. Students will brainstorm together while creating their own individual
  story throughout the program.\n\nBy the end of the six weeks\, participan
