559 submissions were made on the draft regulations and have been published Friday 7th April on the DET website. However, several people noticed their submission is missing, published under the wrong name or includes their name despite being labelled ‘Name Withheld’.
The DET was contacted and the submissions page was pulled down on Saturday evening. A closer search revealed that over 100 submissions contained the submitter’s name. Four ‘anonymous’ submissions were clearly identified including contact details despite, the remainder carried the name in a less obvious way.
The Commissioner for Privacy has asked all concerned submission makers to contact him – David Watts at firstname.lastname@example.org
