Looking for some adventure in the great outdoors??

This is the camp for you!!

Last one for the year 😳

Again this year we have booked out the whole NRMA big 4 Caravan Park at Halls Gap for a very affordable week of fun and adventure. Book in fast so you don’t miss out!!

Be awestruck by nature in the ancient and beautiful country of Gariwerd. Adventure enthusiasts and nature buffs will be delighted as they wake to kookaburras and sleep among the kangaroos and possums. Only a short walk from Halls Gap, the NRMA is nestled amongst amazing views in a park designed for kids and adventure.

Optional activities planned for the week include…

FREE – Meet and greet ( compliments of HEN), Movie night onsite in the indoor games room ( exclusively booked for homeschool stuff)

Tennis, swimming pool, jumping pillow, hiking, bike tracks, on site skate park,beach volleyball, basketball court, netball, playgrounds,fire pits ( and marshmallows), kite flying, tree climbing, nerf wars, etc…

SMALL COST – pedal cars, dance workshops, zoo, ice creams, face painting, halls gap zoo ( not far away), bow and arrow making, wood working workshop, GLOWPARTY!!

DANCE workshop with Sarah

A huge favourite for all ages. As an amazing dance instructor with many years of experience, Sarah will engage kids old and very young to remember the joy of dance, games and performing. She is overflowing with enthusiasm it’s contagious. You’ll find yourself moving like ya just don’t care who is watching 😆 and never wanting it to end. A concert may be had 🤔😆. Or just some flash mobs 🪩🕺

BOW and ARROW making and games 🏹

Come join Murray to make your own real bow and/ or arrows. This is a unique opportunity to work with an amazing tradesman with many years of experience to create your own individualised bow to take home and lasts a lifetime. Suitable for any ages ( under 7 will probably need alot of parental help). The workshops will be onsite at camp so you can just wander down and join in the workshops over the days of the camp.

The final afternoon will be your opportunity to join in some awesome games and try your skills ( possibly on some moving targets)😂🤣. Kids welcome to bring their own bows etc.

Kid v’s Wild

We plan to run 4 different (60 minute) activities this year. Each mission is supervised and aims to teach kids how to think like a true survivor while having a lot of fun and making friends.

1) Protection – hide to survive

Learn basic skills like how to keep warm, blend in and keep sheltered from a harsh environment, as well as tracking wildlife and stalking.

2) Get Out Alive

Earn how to navigate rugged terrain through teamwork and communicate in awesome games. How to tie knots and stay ALIVE!

3) Navigate The Island

Teaches how to navigate without a compass, pace, measure, find north, use plants and orienteering skills in some fun ways.

4) Feast in the Wild

How to identify bush tucka, throw spears, build a fire, toast up bush damper and eat bush treats 😂

Meet and greet sausage sizzle ( compliments of HEN) first night. Limited vegan options. Come meet up at camp kitchen for a quick yarn and a warm feed. Any camp info about activities etc. will be shared here. It’s a great chance to catch up with old mates and meet new ones 😊.

CAMP DANCE

An awesome way to finish up on a high… the incredible GLOW PARTY… like you’ve never seen before!!

Facilities

It’s an awesome park with soo much to do. We have secured til he exclusive use of the hall for games, hangouts, activities, movie night, bad weather contingencies.

There is a jumping pillow, swimming pool, beach volleyball, basketball, netball rings, play grounds, skate park, bike tracks,

tennis courts, pedal carts, bbq areas, 2 camp kitchens, short walk to IGA and restaurants etc, pizza shops etc. Sooo many amazing walks, waterfalls and indigenous artworks nearby for all levels. Rock climbing, kayak company in town.

( my tip after many years of camps is… to prepare yourselves as your kids will probably just want to hang at camp and play with mates 😂)

And a 10% discount on accommodation options.

Accomodation options are for every budget from around $$129/ night to $425/ night.
