Say farewell to 2026 & hello Summer with a cool ice skating lesson &/or Curling class at the O’Brien Icehouse!
Families can choose either of both of the following activities:
Session 1. Introduction to Ice Skating
Join a 30 minute introductory skating lesson from one of our qualified coaches, and one hour of free skate time to show off new skills
Session 2. Curling Class
Curling is taking the ice sports world by storm – a very slowly moving storm – and is increasingly endorsed as one of the most fun ice sports that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities. Curling is easily enjoyed by everyone, regardless of their skill level.
Itinerary:
- 10.45am: families joining Session 1 arrive
- 11am: Intro to Ice Skating commences
- 12.30pm: Session 1 ends. Departure for those signed only to Session 1
- 12.45pm: families joining Session 2 arrive
- 1pm: Curling class commences
- 2.30pm: Session 2 ends. Departure
Important notes:
- Kids tickets of all ages are:
- Session 1 only: $15
- Session 2 only: $16
- Full package: $24.50
- Adult non-participating tickets are free, limit of one adult per family. For adults wanting to skate, the price will be confirmed once numbers are confirmed (price will depend on numbers).
- Preschoolers can attend as non-participants only.
- Ice skates hire included
- BYO helmet is recommended, or helmets available onsite
- All participating kids will reveive a voucher to come back to a public skate session for only $12 (valid until 31st December)
- O’Brien Icehouse is a cashless venue
