CFA Fire Safety Kids: home safety plan (Pakenham Upper, 8-10y)

Join us for a day at the Pakenham Upper CFA Fire Station, just in time for fire season!

Learn how to develop a home fire escape plan, & get to see the inner workings of a CFA fire station & fire truck.

All participating kids will receive a Fire Safe Kids backpack, & families may also receive a camping & fire safefy book (based on availability).

Itinerary:

• 9.50am: arrive, names ticked off, group entry
• 10am: how to complete a home fire safety plan, Q&A, & fire safety games
• 12pm (or earlier): lunch break
• 12.30: explore fire station & truck
• 1pm: end of session, receive backpack & book

Age & Price

This program is aimed at kids aged 8y-10y, however is open to all ages, so siblings welcome. If your family doesn’t have at least one child aged 8y-10y, please contact the event organiser (button below), to be put on a waitlist who will be approached if the event doesn’t book out.

This event is free, with a $5 per child refundable deposit required, to be refunded based on attendance.

Open to all home educating families, HEN members or otherwise.
