Do you have lots of imaginative ideas, but shy or unsure when it comes to expressing them in front of others?

Creative Performance & Dramatic Voice Acting is a fun and engaging online program where young people can explore drama, storytelling, speech and communication in a supportive environment.

Suitable for both beginners and students with previous storytelling experience, this course provides an exciting introduction to creative performance while also offering new challenges for participants who have completed our Podcast Storytelling program and would like to further develop their confidence, creativity, and presentation skills.

Through creative games, storytelling activities, dramatic readings, speeches, and group performance exercises, participants will learn how to bring stories to life and communicate with confidence. Students will explore different ways of expressing ideas, emotions, and characters while developing their own unique style and voice.

Throughout the program, participants will:

• Learn how to read and approach different types of text – Speech, story, dialogue and narration
• Explore imaginative ways of making a piece of text sound interesting to listeners
• Learn how to use voice, expression and body language while presenting
• Build confidence and comfort speaking in front of others
• Develop presentation and public speaking skills
• Practice listening, imagination, collaboration and creative thinking
• Share their work in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment

Every session combines creativity, performance, discussion and fun activities designed to help young people develop confidence, communication skills and self-expression.
