Make • Weave • Create
Discover the fun of weaving using simple, everyday materials! In this hands-on workshop, young people will learn how to create their own hand-held looms from cardboard, sticks, and found objects, then turn them into colourful woven artworks.
Participants will explore easy weaving techniques suitable for all skill levels, including:
- Basic loom weaving
- Plaiting and braiding
- Finger knitting
- String-making and fibre play
Using yarn, recycled materials, natural fibres, fabric scraps, grasses, and other creative finds, everyone will design a unique woven piece to take home.
No experience needed. Just bring your imagination and get creative!
