Join zoo educators from Taronga Zoo to explore the connections between habitats, ecosystems, and environments by observing the living and non-living things that make up these spaces. They will investigate how energy moves through food chains, discovering the important ways plants and animals depend on each other for survival.
Participants will develop a deeper understanding of the natural world and the delicate balance that sustains life.
Children will have the opportunity to interact via a chat box. Please be advised microphones and web cameras will be disabled for this session.
An adult must be in the room with children to supervise them online throughout this event.
This event is for HEN members only, new members are very welcome!
Ages:
This session was designed by Taronga Zoo for ages 7y-10y (stage 2 / years 3 – 4). Siblings are welcome to participate (there may be lack of interest for children under 6 and over 13).
Price:
$5 per connection (families will need to purchase a ticket for each device they will be using to connect to the session).
