  • Check the tutor’s suitability and references.
  • Ask to see their WWCC/VIT registration.
  • Tutoring should only take place in a public part of the home with a parent or responsible adult present. Tutoring should never take place in a child’s bedroom.
  • For any online tutoring the parent must be aware of the type of interaction the child is having with the tutor. It is good practice for the parent to be present or within hearing range during the tutoring and to observe each session.

Montessori trained Secondary Science and Mathematics specialist (Oakleigh East and surrounding suburbs).

I am a VIT registered and Montessori trained, Secondary Level Educator with 9 years experience.

I believe developing a rapport with each student is key to the creation of an individual pathway of learning, through which students can feel respected and empowered to grow. Through my AMI training in the Montessori method, I am able to develop engaging programs for adolescents which align with the state curriculum expectations (as appropriate), but are also respectful and guided by the individual student and family needs.

If you are interested in an individual, targeted program or small group tutoring in mathematics, science, or generalised academic support please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I am more than happy to discuss your needs and answer any further questions you may have, without any obligation.

I am located in Oakleigh East and can travel up to 30 mins to you, or provide support over Skype.
