David Newman (Berwick and surrounds)

Hi Homeschoolers, I’d like to introduce myself to you. I run ‘David Newman Educational Tutoring’. I have a Facebook Page of the same title. I am a very experienced and highly qualified teacher and tutor with 25 years experience. I have full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching, Police Check and WWCC. I have taught in TAFE, primary and secondary levels across all education sectors (State, Catholic and Independent). I possess several educational qualifications, including a Master of Educational Studies from Monash University.I currently tutor both primary and secondary students in English to year 12 and maths to year 8. I have a full schedule of students during weeknights. I have vacancies during the weekend. I am very keen to partner with Homeschool families to help with your children. Therefore, I am now available weekdays from 9 – 3 pm.

I have a friendly and informal style which helps develop rapport and build confidence with students. I’m happy to supply referees, that is, parents of the students that I have tutored, to attest to the academic progress my students have made. I tutor students individually or in small groups in their own home. I live in Berwick (Outer Sth East Melb) and will easily travel 15 – 20 kms from my home. I have three children who are at high school and am aware of many academic concerns that such students have.
Please contact me on 0423 550 346 or for a chat if you may need a partner for your child’s education.
