NDIS Sport Coaching 1 to 1
ABOUT: Hi, my name is Kristian. I am a fully registered and qualified Physical Education teacher with a Degree in Exercise Science. As a teacher and coach, I have worked alongside children of all ages ranging from preschool to teenage years.
I enjoy working with children and their families as they grow and achieve personalised goals. My holistic approach is informed by my knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, motor control, health, and my extensive classroom experience.
I work from a strengths-based framework in partnership with children and young adults who present with neurodevelopment differences, their families, and multi-disciplinary teams. What matters most to me is children having fun through physical activity. Children are much more likely to learn and reach their goals when they can be their authentic selves and enjoy what they are doing.
MISSION: To provide fun, active and client-centred support for individuals with special needs, their families, and carers.
SERVICES PROVIDED
I establish a strong working relationship with children and their families by first learning about the unique needs of each family and how we can work together to develop children’s confidence, fitness, strength and overall wellbeing. I incorporate play-based teaching models that focus on fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, emotion regulation and cognitive skills.
Each session is full of engagement, energy, passion, and flexibility. I offer sessions in homes or at local parks of your choice. I have a large variety of sporting equipment that is tailored to meet individual needs.

Alicia -Hooimeyer – Music Tutor
A natural people-person (and former homeschooler), Alicia’s goal is to help young people become fascinated with music and develop personal confidence along the way.
Alicia possesses a range of music experience: from solo classical singing and piano, to leading contemporary bands, choir accompanist, music tutor, and a performer for many events including several Carols by Candlelight, weddings, and community events such as disaster fundraisers.
When her desire to teach was sparked during casual work as a rehearsal accompanist for a school choir, Alicia commenced a Bachelor of Music (Contemporary) shortly afterward. She has spent the last few years studying vocal performance in pop, Jazz, Rock and Blues, and other contemporary genres.
Recently graduated (Final Recital pictured to the left), Alicia is seeking to help students of all ages and skills to achieve their music dreams. Alicia brings to the dream of teaching poise and empathy from her experience in aged care catering, various cafe work, and children’s holiday program volunteering.

Lallo Yellow Literacy (Carlton)
Providing evidence-based 1-1 reading lessons in Carlton, and school holiday intensives.
We are a small team providing evidence-based individual tutoring sessions for children (especially targeting 5-10 year olds), with session plans based on the Science of Reading.
This format may be of interest to families who are doing home education, in order to outsource or reinforce/extend their literacy efforts. Lallo sessions are particularly helpful for parents who may be concerned that their child is not learning to read as easily as could be expected, or about the impact of lockdowns.
Literacy support can be provided for students with any types of difficulties – whether attentional, intellectual, motivational, neurodevelopmental, linguistic/cultural, emotional, or experiential (including poor instruction).
Many children are referred for 6-12 months of evidence-based structured explicit synthetic phonics intervention as part of the process of assessing whether they have a learning disorder in reading, and Lallo Yellow Literacy is well placed to assist these children.
For parents seeking to make the most of holidays to assist their child with literacy, Lallo is offering School Holiday Literacy Intensives – contact us for details.
All tutors at Lallo are trained Sounds Write* practitioners and have a Working With Children Check. Tutoring takes place at Lallo in Carlton.
Bookings: Please call 0403286485 or email maddy@lallo.com.au
Families that have NDIS for a reason other than Dyslexia (such as Autism Level 2) are welcome to contact us to discuss whether Lallo sessions might align with your goals for your child, such as accessing written communication, building future independence or employment prospects. Please contact us regarding fees, goals and let us know whether you are self-managed or plan managed.
