This session is for teens only (12-18). after a tour and facilitated discussion of the gallery, attendees have a hands-on take home project to do.
The exhibition for Term 1 is “50 Years of Collecting” ” This survey of the University’s Art Collection has been compiled in celebration of Deakin University’s 50 year anniversary. The exhibition takes audiences on a journey through our 50 years of collecting.
Pieces are displayed marking significant milestones alongside new acquisitions, allowing visitors to explore not only the collection’s origins.”
After looking around the gallery, Tabitha Davies, the educator, will facilitate discussion about the art work and then follow this with a hands-on project to do and take home.
