This session is for teens only (12-18). after a tour and facilitated discussion of the gallery, attendees have a hands-on take home project to do.
The exhibition for Term 2 is “Alumni in Focus”
“With a focus on recent alumni of Deakin’s Higher Degree by Research program four artists have been invited to present recent projects, celebrating the diverse voices and practices of our creative researchers.
The project seeks to showcase the interdisciplinary and experiential approaches of Deakin’s creative researchers and the distinctive success and quality of the teaching and learning program.”
Following our tour and discussion facilitated by Deakin University’s Art Gallery educator, Tabitha Davies, participating teens will then create artwork of their own which reflects the nature of the exhibition.
