Did you know that the antenna inside a mobile phone is a fractal? In this taster session, we’ll explore these fascinating, infinitely repeating shapes that show up in nature, art, and technology.
In this session, your child will:
Understand Fractals: Learn what a fractal is and why it’s so special in nature and math.
Explore the Mandelbrot Set: Zoom into the famous Mandelbrot fractal and see the infinite patterns unfold.
Create a Sierpinski Triangle: Draw and understand this classic fractal pattern, exploring how it repeats endlessly.
