Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a ground based martial art that encourages resilience, determination and rewards effort. Its focus is to take an aggressor to the ground where they can be controlled whilst removing risk to the defendant.
The age range is 4-15. Shorts and a tee shirt are fine but please avoid shorts with pockets or zips/studs as these pose a risk to participants and may damage the mats. A water bottle is also recommended.
