The Thought Workshop: Part III

Ancient Wisdom Literature Series for Home-Educated Teens

Join us as we explore the philosophical and literary traditions of ancient civilisations through their foundational writings, examining how their ideas continue to shape our understanding of wisdom, leadership, and human nature.

Morning Session: Ancient Texts and Ideas

We will delve into classical works like the Epic of Gilgamesh, Homer’s Odyssey, Confucius’s Analects, the Prophets of Israel, and the Bhagavad Gita, with some comparative studies of other texts from the period.

Afternoon Session: Interactive Discussions

After lunch, we will engage in discussions that challenge the teens to unpack the stories and big ideas emerging from these texts. These sessions are designed to stimulate and enhance critical and creative thinking. Students will be encouraged to express diverse viewpoints, fostering a spirit of inquiry and independent thought.
