This Design-Based STEM project focuses on future mobility, using AI, drones, electric batteries and renewable energies like solar and wind. Students will create sustainable transport solutions, considering practical, leisure, and ethical aspects. The project aims to explore efficient, fun and environmentally friendly transportation methods while addressing the social and environmental impacts of these technologies. Over the 3 weeks students will meet online and in person at Banyule Nillumbik Tech School.
Places are limited to 20 students. Suitable for 12+.
Dates:
- Thurs 6th Jun 9am – 3pm @ BNTS (Launch, investigation, ideation)
- Fri 7th Jun 2pm – 3pm Online (work at home most of Friday on project)
- Wed 12th Jun 9am – 3pm @ BNTS (Computer Aided Design )
- Thu 13th Jun 9am – 3pm @ BNTS (Prototyping / Video Production)
- Mon 17 th Jun 2pm – 3pm Online (Presentation Preparation)
- Wed 19th 9am – 3pm @ BNTS (Presentations / Exhibition)
Time: 9am – 3pm when onsite at BNTS, 2pm – 3pm when online.
