Run by Linden from Riverside Science, your child will be engaged with 10 x 60min fun, hands-on and challenging science sessions that will deepen their exploration of chemistry using the Tiny Science Lab ‘Chemistry set with chemicals’. 🧪🧪🧪 This course is a deep dive in chemistry, covering chemical concepts in greater breadth and depth than the ‘General Science’ course, giving you a practical experience in chemistry that will spark curiosity and deepen skills and knowledge.

Ages: recommended for 12 to 16 year-olds
When: the online sessions will run weekly on a Thursday, 4.30pm to 5:30pm, starting on Thurs 25th July and finishing on Thurs 26th Sept, 2024.
Curriculum coverage: Course 1 explores chemistry concepts from the Year 7 Science Australian curriculum, these outcomes are highlighted in the accompanying workbook. But no matter the age, this is a great starting point, especially if your child has minimal experience with practical chemistry. Further courses will be available following these 10 lessons.

We have been doing online science classes with Linden from Riverside Science for a year now and have loved his sessions. They are all hands on and use the kits from Tiny Science Lab which are brilliant in themselves. My child has done year 7 & year 8 chemistry and Year 7 physics with Riverside and highly recommends them. Linden is a homeschool dad who runs in person homeschool classes also in his area (cehtral coast NSW) and was previousky a science teacher before homeschooling. He’s a wonderful teacher, great communicator and engages well with the kids. Next term Linden is offering a range of classes online for primary and secondary ages.
