Join us for any or all 3 excursions at the beautiful McClelland Sculpture Park:
Kids will engage with First Nations culture & the natural environment by:
• A guided bushland walk from an indigenous perspective
• Discussing Aboriginal life & creativity
• A hands-on workshop linked to Indigenous culture & the season
Students will engage with the exhibition by:
• Discussing exhibition themes
• Viewing & learning about displayed visual art elements, materials & techniques
• Discussing John Meade & his practice
Immersed in bushland, discover a range of artworks & learn about:
• Modernist sculpture
• Art elements: shape, space, line, texture
• Moving sculpture / kinetic & interactive art
• Natural, recycled & reclaimed materials
◇ For ages 5y-14y, siblings welcome
◇ Parents & siblings under 3y free
◇ BYO picnic lunch, or enjoy the onsite cafe
◇ Closed-toed shoes recommended for outdoor excursions (🐍)
◇ Excursions may be divided into age groups, depending on numbers (tbc)
