3D modelling masterclass.
Learn the fundamentals of 3D modelling and create an avatar to be 3D printed.
In this unit, students will explore the emerging worlds offered by immersive digital environments, and act as digital artists to craft avatars that might navigate these virtual spaces. Using Fusion 360, or Tinkercad, students will work through a quick tutorial to learn the basics before being set free to craft a digital likeness.
Digital avatars are available to be 3D printed and posted to you (at no charge) after your engagement.
This event is strictly for students of secondary school age. To avoid disappointment, please do not book in younger children or they will not be allowed to participate as per the Science Gallery requirements.
Bookings close 8 February unless booked out prior. Requests for additional tickets will be managed via the TryBooking waitlist. If booked out or past the booking close date, a waitlist button will be visible in place of the booking button in TryBooking.
